Spencerian Script
A Pebble and A Pen is a historic look at Spencerian Script. Characterized by its connection to the oval forms found in nature and its delicately shaded letterforms, Spencerian Script is a gentle and graceful pointed pen hand. The whispering shades on the letterforms will help students to lighten their touch with the pointed pen. While tracing the history of Platt Rogers Spencer's system of handwriting, we look at the structure and forms of the lowercase letterforms before being introduced to the graceful capital forms. This class is open to all skill levels and is best taught over two days.
